Question 1

Is there a joining fee?

Accepted Answer

Your first year with DaveGPT Records has no upfront label fee. Instead, we earn agreed percentages from income streams covered by your written artist agreement.

Question 2

What does DaveGPT Records charge?

Accepted Answer

There is no universal rate shown on this website. Exact percentages, covered income, services, expenses and revenue definitions are agreed individually with each artist in writing.

Question 3

Do artists keep ownership?

Accepted Answer

Yes, unless a separate written agreement explicitly states otherwise. DaveGPT Records does not automatically own an artist’s music, masters, compositions, publishing or artist brand.

Question 4

Is this a traditional major-label deal?

Accepted Answer

No. DaveGPT Records is a small, artist-first independent label providing agreed release, promotional, administrative and commercial support.

Question 5

Are results guaranteed?

Accepted Answer

No. We can carry out campaign, playlist, press, radio, licensing and booking outreach, but we never guarantee placement, coverage, streams, bookings, audience growth or income.

Question 6

Can new artists apply?

Accepted Answer

Yes. New, independent, and already released artists can apply.

Question 7

Can already released music be listed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Existing music can be added with release details, cover art, artist information, and streaming links.
